Velvet-effect bridal gift boxes — pack of 10, flat-packed

A pack of 10 identical boxes in card covered with flocked paper, velvet-effect on the outside with a matt, downy feel. They arrive flat and unassembled: they fold up by hand in seconds without glue, and flatten again for storage — an unassembled pack takes the space of a card folder, so several colours can be kept in reserve at the workshop. These are the boxes that go into the tyafer and the tbek, the trays the groom's family brings to the bride loaded with the jewellery set, the perfume, the make-up and the linen, each piece presented in its own box. The box is seen before the gift inside it, which is why the trade buys velvet rather than bare card, and takes the colour from the evening's own.
