Terms of sale — ordering, delivery and payment

The shop tasdira.com is operated by Tasdira, whose identity and details appear at the bottom of this page. It offers for sale ceremony jewellery and accessories, presentation objects and trousseau articles, delivered in Algeria only.

These conditions govern every order placed on the site, on WhatsApp or by phone. They are written in French, English and Arabic; in case of divergence, the French version prevails.

Prices are in Algerian dinars, all taxes included. The price shown at the time of the order is the price due; there is no hidden fee and no surcharge at delivery. Delivery fees are shown separately before confirmation: 400 DA for the wilaya of Algiers, 600 DA for the other wilayas, and free from 7,500 DA of purchases.

Every amount is a multiple of 50 dinars, so the total is payable in cash without change.

An order is recorded after the phone number is verified by a code sent by SMS. It receives a number, repeated in the confirmation SMS and on the tracking page.

Before any dispatch, the operator calls the number given to confirm the order, the address and the wished date. An order that cannot be confirmed by phone after several attempts may be cancelled at no cost to the customer.

The operator may refuse an order where a piece is unavailable, where the price is obviously wrong or where parcels have previously been refused; the customer is told by phone or SMS.

Delivery is to the door, in all 69 wilayas, by the carrier Yalidine. There is no agency pickup. Some communes not served at home are flagged at the time of the order.

Handover to the carrier takes place within 1 working day after the phone confirmation; transit then takes 2 to 5 working days depending on the wilaya, longer to the south. Friday, Saturday and public holidays are not working days. The dates shown on the site are estimates drawn from the carrier’s network, not commitments.

The courier contacts the customer before handover. In case of absence, a new attempt is made the next working day; after several failed attempts the parcel is returned to the operator.

Payment is exclusively in cash, in dinars, to the courier, when the parcel is handed over. No online payment, no transfer and no deposit is requested or accepted. The operator never asks for advance payment.

The customer may open and check the parcel in the courier’s presence before paying. A parcel refused at delivery is not charged.

A receipt is issued for every order and stays available from the tracking page and from the customer account.

The customer may cancel an order as long as it has not been handed to the carrier, from the tracking page after verification by SMS code, or during the confirmation call. After handover to the carrier, cancellation takes the form of refusing the parcel at delivery, at no cost to the customer.

The customer has 10 days from delivery to request the return or exchange of an unworn piece whose seal and tags are intact, in its original packaging. The request is made from the tracking page or the account, after verification by SMS code; collection is arranged by the carrier.

Hair pins and personalised articles are not taken back unless a defect is found at delivery. The detail of the conditions, exceptions and refund terms is in the return policy, which forms part of these conditions.

Pieces are described with their real material: plated brass or alloy, rhinestone and glass, textiles and wood. No piece is solid gold or solid silver, nor set with precious stones, and no description suggests it. Photographs are of the piece sold; slight variations of tone may exist from one batch to the next.

Dimensions and weights given are those measured on the piece; a tolerance of a few millimetres or grams is possible.

The operator is responsible for the conformity of the piece delivered to its description. It is not responsible for the carrier’s delays, for the consequences of a wrong number or address, nor for use of the pieces beyond their purpose.

The pieces are ceremony accessories intended for adults; small parts (beads, stones, pins) must be kept out of children’s reach.

Any complaint is first addressed to the operator through the contact routes shown; the operator undertakes to answer it. These conditions are governed by Algerian law.
