French, Arabic and Arabic in Latin letters all work.
Pick the piece and its accord (gold, silver, rose gold, burgundy, ivory…), add it to the cart, then enter your name, wilaya, commune and phone number. A six-digit code arrives by SMS to confirm the number, and the order is recorded. There is no online payment: you pay the courier when the parcel is handed over.
If you prefer, message us on WhatsApp with the reference of the piece and we will record the order for you.
No. A phone number is enough to order. An account is useful if you order often — a machta preparing several weddings a season: it keeps your orders and addresses and lets you reorder a past order in one tap. It opens with the same number, no password, and automatically claims the orders already placed with that number.
Yes. Every product page has a WhatsApp button that opens a conversation with the piece, the accord and the quantity already filled in. We record the order with the same order number, the same confirmation call and the same delivery as an order placed on the site. Reply hours are on the contact page.
After every order we call to confirm the piece, the accord, the address and the date you need it by. That call is what stops a parcel from coming back. The calling number is in the confirmation SMS; if you do not answer we try again and then send a message. Dispatch leaves the next working day after confirmation.
In cash, to the courier, when the parcel is handed to you. It is the only payment method: no online payment, no bank transfer, no CCP, no deposit. Nobody will ever ask you to pay before delivery — if someone does in our name, it is not us.
Yes. Prices are all-inclusive, in dinars, with no hidden fees. The total to prepare is shown in the cart, at checkout, in the SMS and on the tracking page: the price of the pieces plus delivery (400 DA in Algiers, 600 DA elsewhere, free from 7,500 DA). Every amount is a multiple of 50 DA — the courier does not give change below that, so prepare the exact amount.
Yes. You open the parcel in front of the courier and check the piece — the accord, its condition, the quantity — before paying. It is a setting we enable on every parcel with the carrier, not a favour from the courier. If the piece is not what you ordered, refuse the parcel: you pay nothing.
In front of the courier: refuse the parcel, without paying. It comes back to us and we call you to send the right piece. After the courier has left: open a return request from the tracking page or your account within 10 days of delivery, with a photo of the piece. A piece damaged on arrival is replaced or refunded in cash on collection, with no return cost to you.
400 DA in Algiers, 600 DA in the other 68 wilayas, and free from 7,500 DA. The amount shows as soon as you pick your wilaya, and the cart tells you what is missing for free delivery.
The parcel is handed to the carrier Yalidine the next working day after the confirmation call, then takes 2 to 5 working days in transit depending on the wilaya — longer to the far south. Friday and Saturday do not count, nor do public holidays. The product page, the cart and the tracking page show concrete dates for your wilaya, not a number of days: if you have a wedding date, compare it with the date shown before ordering.
We deliver to the door in all 69 wilayas. A few communes are not served at home by the carrier: they appear greyed out in the commune selector at checkout, with the reason. There is no agency pickup — the parcel comes to your door.
The courier calls before coming. If you cannot be reached, they try again the next working day and we send you an SMS with their number. After several unanswered attempts the parcel comes back to us. If you know you will be away, tell us on the confirmation call: we delay dispatch or change the address — to the machta’s salon, for instance.
From Istanbul, where we choose them ourselves at the trade’s workshops and wholesalers, and bring them back on every trip. They are the same pieces the machtas of Algeria travel there to buy — without the plane ticket. Every product page says what the piece is made of; we sell neither solid gold nor solid silver, and we never let it be believed.
A brass or alloy base, covered with a thin gold-tone or silver-tone finish. The colour is that of gold or silver; the material is not. A plated piece holds up well when worn for the ceremony, stored dry in its pouch, and kept away from perfume, water and prolonged sweat. With time and wear a plated finish can dull: that is the nature of the product, not a defect. The stones are rhinestone or glass, never precious stones.
The accord is the tone of the piece: gold, silver, rose gold or two-tone for jewellery; burgundy, ivory, midnight blue, powder pink, emerald green for textiles and glass. It follows the outfit, not taste: gold with the chedda, the karakou and most caftans embroidered in gold thread; silver with Kabyle dress and silver embroidery; rose gold with powdery tones. On the site you can browse the whole catalogue by accord to assemble a tasdira that holds together from end to end — jewellery, trays, boxes and garment bags in one tone.
Each jewel in its pouch, flat, dry, away from direct light. Wipe it with a soft dry cloth after the evening — never water, cleaning products or wipes. Textiles (bags, cloths, favour pouches) fold without pressing the embroidery; trays and boxes are stored empty. For the machta carrying everything from one salon to the next, the garment bag and the jewellery case in the catalogue are made for exactly that.
10 days from delivery — enough to try the piece with the outfit before the day. The piece must be unworn, with its seal and tags intact, in its pouch or box. Hair pins and personalised pieces (engraving, a card in the bride’s name) cannot be returned unless faulty on arrival.
From the order’s tracking page or from your account, as soon as the order is marked delivered and for 10 days. An SMS code confirms it is you, you state the reason and the piece, and we call you to arrange collection by the carrier. There is nothing to post back yourself.
The way you paid: in cash, no card and no transfer. Depending on what you prefer, we send the right piece in exchange (delivery on us), or we refund the price of the piece when the parcel is collected. The initial delivery fee is refunded only when the return is due to our mistake or a piece damaged on arrival.
Yes, as long as it has not been confirmed by phone or handed to the carrier: from the tracking page, with an SMS code, or by telling us on the confirmation call. Once the parcel has left, tell us rather than refusing it at the door: a cancellation costs us less than a round trip, and you will not have to wait for the courier.
Because it is the only way to deliver to you: the courier calls before coming, we call to confirm, and the tracking SMS arrives on it. It is also your identifier if you open an account — there is no password. We only call and write about your orders.
A six-digit code, valid for a few minutes, that proves the number is yours before an order is recorded, your account opened, or a cancellation or return requested. It is never asked for a payment. If it does not arrive, wait for the countdown to end and request another; if it still does not, call us and we will take the order by phone.
We keep your name, number, address and orders, to deliver and for accounting. They are neither sold nor passed on. The number goes through our SMS provider for order messages; site audience measurement happens only with your consent. You can delete your account from the account page, or ask us to. Retention periods and the details are on the privacy page.
In most cases, yes: the head chain fastens with hooks or pins into the hairstyle, and the length adjusts over several centimetres. Each model’s page gives the chain length and the drop length, to compare with the forehead and the chignon. When in doubt, the machta adjusts it when setting it — that is what she does with every piece of this kind.
Measure the ankle at its narrowest, just above the bone, and add one to two centimetres so it sits without pinching. The page gives the inside diameter or the length of the model and whether it opens or has an adjustable chain. If you hesitate between two, take the larger: a khelkhal that slides gets worn, one that pinches stays in the box.
Yes: the belts in the catalogue fasten with hooks on several positions or with an extension chain, and the page gives the range of waist sizes covered. It is worn over the outfit, so measure over the closed dress or caftan, not on the skin.
