The piece
The hanger with the name on it: the gown hanging, the bride's name above it — the shot every wedding photographer takes before she dresses. Five hangers cut from bare board, metal hook fitted, shoulder notches to hold straps and loops — enough for the white gown and the tasdira outfits on the machta's rail. They arrive blank: the name or the date is added in bent aluminium wire, laser engraving or applied wooden lettering, and the personalisation is not included. After the night the hanger stays with the family.
