The piece
Four pairs of large drop earrings, plated brass with set rhinestones or crystals, 6 to 9 cm long. Earrings are the fastest-turning piece in the tasdira: the bride changes outfit three to seven times through the night and the machta cannot redo the whole parure at every change, so she changes the earrings. They are worn with the hair up, alongside the khit errouh or the taj, where they are the detail that reads in photographs and on video from the back of the room. The pack of four is bought to cover several outfits of the same night, or several brides of the same season.
